March is ArtSnacks’ birthday month! This year, we’re celebrating six years of discovering art supplies, spreading inspiration, and appreciating our amazingly talented customers and friends (that’s YOU!). On Saturday, March 16th, we’re stepping out of our studios and into a local art museum to bring creative minds together! Join Lee, co-founder of ArtSnacks, for a special drawing session at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City! Tickets for this event are $40 per person and include: a ticket to the museum, drawing supplies, and three hours of prompt-led drawing by Lee. There are only 24 spots available for this event, so reserve your spot now! Please wear comfortable walking shoes. The museum only allows graphite drawing in the galleries, so plan accordingly if you prefer to use your own pencils/sketchbook. A little about the museum: The Met Fifth Avenue presents over 5,000 years of art spanning all cultures and time periods. Since the Museum opened its doors to the public in its current location in Central Park in 1880, its footprint has expanded to cover more than two million square feet. Today, art comes alive in the Museum's galleries and through its exhibitions and events, revealing both new ideas and unexpected connections across time and cultures. A little about ArtSnacks: Founded in 2013, ArtSnacks is a subscription box of unique, high-quality art supplies, with a mission to inspire people through the discovery of amazing art materials. Every month, subscribers discover new products, limited-edition tools, exclusive supplies, and useful techniques through our service. Subscribers are encouraged to create an original work of art using only the supplies in their monthly box and share it with the rest of the ArtSnacks community – we call this the #ArtSnacksChallenge. ArtSnacks has been mentioned by the Museum of Modern Art, The New York Times, Buzzfeed, and Nylon Magazine. Visit ArtSnacks at http://www.ArtSnacks.co
