This review is a ...

This review is a little overdue, nonetheless I wanted to leave this review for a number of reason. The location is excellent, nestled in the heart of Midtown Manhattan, easy access to 5th Ave, 6tg Ave and Times Square about a 10 min walk. Plenty of good restaurants and coffee shops nearby. The check in experience was not the greatest. The room was not what we booked and it's likely that the person who did the check-in thought we will not uncover that. My initial interaction with the front desk staff was, to say the least like talking to a brick wall. There was no emotion, empathy. Very robotic in his approach, this individual does not belong in the hospitality industry, perhaps a job at Rikers will be better suited for him. However, there are individuals like David who use logic and still understand what Guest Standards are, as he went out of his way to ensure that the room was changed, as the visit was to mark a significant milestone, 55th Wedding Anniversary. I want to thank David once again, but do not want to forget the hospitality and courtesy of Anna, Carlos and Manik. If it weren't for these individuals, the stay wouldn't have been as pleasant. The Iroquois is a petite boutique hotel in a historic building from the 1800's, it has its charm and quirks. Thanks to the awesome team once again!
