  • When is the best time to visit MoMA?

    The museum is most crowded upon opening, where lines to purchase tickets can be long, and on Friday afternoons, when admission to MoMA is free beginning at 4:00 p.m. To avoid lines, visitors are encouraged to purchase tickets online or to arrive an hour after opening.
  • What is MoMA PS1?

    MoMA PS1 is the former P.S.1 Contemporary Art Center and auxiliary of the Museum of Modern Art. One of the largest non-profit contemporary art organizations, MoMA PS1 is located in Long Island City on Jackson Avenue, accessible easily by the 7 train from Bryant Park, where the museum is home to exhibits and experimental works from emerging artists, a studio program, and events.
