Interested in Washington Square Park history? Like meeting new people? Then consider becoming a WSP Greeter or Guide! Applications are open now and are due March 25 at 5:00 p.m.

Greeter volunteers answer questions from park visitors on various topics, from park horticulture and history to events and happenings. Tour Guides develop a tour of the park under the guidance of Conservancy staff and lead groups on an exploration of the Park’s many features and functions.

Requirements
Greeter orientation must be completed before beginning Guide training. Orientations will take place on April 6 and April 13, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. This program requires submission of an application, extensive orientation and a commitment of at least 6 hours per month.

How to ApplyThe
The application for the greeter/guide program is now available and is due March 25. Applications must be submitted before signing up for an orientation. Questions? Email volunteer@washingtonsquareparkconservancy.org.
